my friend keeps on getting called a ‘communist pig’ by one of the boys in our class, she was wearing one of those inspi(red) shirts. now, she sent an email to some of us girls (including his sis) about how angry she was at him. well, sis gave it to him. he’s really annoying and the teachers don’t do anything really. it’s getting really frustrating, and one of the boys started to snort at her. he said, “i’m snorting at you, because that is the only language you know, you communist pig.” that’s a direct quote. any help would be appreciative.
we’ve also told him to stop, but he won’t. one of his best friends to him to stop, and he won’t. his comments are really getting hurtful.
he also makes fun of my friend for having a crush on another boy in our grade. he’ll make stupid comments whenever ‘marriage’ or ‘affair’ comes up in class. the one teacher who could’ve helped moved away last year. please any help!

Tell the dean. USSR was dissolved. They are just saying that because of the red shirt. That’s harassment and the most trivial I’ve heard of in a long time.

Question by alter_tygo: what is causing jerky graphics? didn’t used to be this way?
Hi — just within the last couple of weeks, when i’m playing a game on my computer, the graphics get draggy and jerky — gives me a headache. They used to be smooth (like a movie). What causes this?

I checked with the games’ manufacturers and they say “update direct X” which i did, and this didn’t fix it.

I checked with my computer mfr and they were NO help whatsoever. I’ve also tried uninstalling and re-installing the games (Hobbit, Fame, & Narnia in particular, but also Escala solitare and the Windows solitare).

I have a Dell inspiron 9100 with XP, pentium 4 and lots of RAM.

Sometimes if i reboot several times, it will be okay for a while, but eventually starts jerking again.

thank you! any info and/or ideas are appreciated.
PS – i also updated the drivers for my display adapter “ATI Mobility Radeon 9700″ but that didn’t seem to fix it either:

“Somethng” is runing in the background. You may be virussed. Run your av scanner and ad-aware and all that stuff and see if you can’t find and kill the problem that way.

Sometimes, the av scanner is running in the background at the time – that will also cause jerky graphics but is not a problem. You should be able to cancel it or reschedule it.

My husband loves beef jerky. I want to get him something to make it at home, but am not sure which method is best. I’ve seen oven racks for jerky, dehydrators, jerky machines. Anyone got some good jerky experience?

Question by davidcolyer: Why would someone (who likes beef jerky) NOT buy beef jerky from a network marketing company?
I’m preparing to change careers. I’m currently working in the Construction Industry… fabricating pool cages (screen enclosures), but I’ll soon be working full-time in the Direct Sales Industry.

I’ve affiliated myself with a company that produces Premium Quality Meat Snacks. I plan on specializing in selling beef jerky to Retail Consumers. My goal is to earn over ,000 per year by enrolling people into the company’s auto-ship program. But, before I get started, I would really like to know what “objections” I’m likely to encounter. Please tell me every reason you can think of as to why someone would NOT be willing to spend a month buying beef jerky from a network marketing company/through an auto-ship program. Keep in mind… I will be focusing on promoting to people who say YES to the question: “Do you like beef jerky?” I will NOT be trying to get people to do network marketing. I simply want to earn money by acquiring Auto-ship Customers for the company that produces jerky.
